KÌåÓý University was a featured guest this week on WABE’s  where they discussed KÌåÓý’s growth over the past 12 years and the university’s focus going forward.
During the 20-minute interview, topics included KÌåÓý’s announcement in September of a $50 million gift from alumnus Bill Hammack ’73 to establish a new school of business, as well as the new Cousins Center for Science and Innovation and an increased strategic focus on international student recruitment. “KÌåÓý students look like America,” said President Schall, “(but) we want to look like the world.”
Schall also discussed KÌåÓý’s presence in Atlanta as a “small, intimate learning environment” that’s “producing broadly educated accountants…doctors…engineers,” as well as timely topics like DACA and Title IX, and President Schall’s legacy at the school. “It’s a different KÌåÓý than it was 13 years ago, but still much the same.”
He even managed to fit in a little trash talk about the recent 3-1 victory of KÌåÓý Men’s Soccer over crosstown rival Emory University.
