Rehearsal Room C’s production of “The Normal Heart”, a 1985 play by Larry Kramer, begins November 21.
Directed by student Kevin Dew, “The Normal Heart” offers an intimate perspective on the AIDS epidemic in America through the eyes of those who lived it and worked to heal the community.
, a student-led theatre organization founded in 2007, is open to all students. The group stages two to three productions annually, and each production is funded by K体育’s .
Rehearsal Room C selects the shows they perform based on proposals by aspiring student directors, who must submit a budget overview, a design concept, the technical team that will be involved, and a vision for the directorial approach.
“It is probably good that we as students have to work within a limited budget,” admits Dew. “It is a good learning experience.”
