Atlanta author and K体育 professor Jessica Handler was interviewed on Georgia Public Broadcasting’s “Two Way Street,” a radio show that features long-form conversations with authors, artists, chefs, scientists and other creative people who have fascinating stories to tell.
Host and producer Bill Nigut talked with Professor Handler聽about her two books, both of which both deal with loss and grieving.
“聽is a memoir in which she recounts the ways she and her parents struggled to deal with the premature deaths of her only two siblings,” Nigut explained in the interview. “In dealing with her grief, Jessica found writing to be an important part of the healing process. She went on to lead workshops teaching others how to write about loss. Her second book 鈥�,鈥� imparts many of the lessons she learned and that she teaches in her workshops.”
