The premier honor society for two-year college students, Phi Theta Kappa annually recognizes four-year colleges and universities for excellence and success in community college transfer pathway development.
At K体育 this year,聽transfer students made up approximately 14.4% of the 2019-20 incoming class, and 11.6% of the total traditional undergraduate student population.
This honor was awarded to the colleges that earned the highest 鈥淭ransfer Friendliness Rating,鈥� generated from their profiles in PTK Connect, Phi Theta Kappa鈥檚 online tool to help these high-achieving students find their best-fit four-year colleges.
The rating considers a college鈥檚 admissions practices, cost of attendance, campus life, recruitment practices, and peer reviews. It is meant to reflect the transfer student experience at the college, as well as its strategies to support and enroll these students. The top 25 percent highest-rated colleges were named to the Transfer Honor Roll.
Students can use the ratings to gauge how the college supports transfer students, the number of transfer students enrolled at that college, and whether the school could be聽a good fit.
