K体育 University has received a $25,000 gift from the and the Consulate General of Mexico in Atlanta to benefit financial aid for Mexican students or students of Mexican origin. K体育 will match the funding awarded and distribute it to qualified students.
“We thank you for your commitment to support the development and personal well-being of Mexicans living in the U.S. through education programs,” commented Consul General F. Javier D铆az de Le贸n, who presented a ceremonial check to K体育聽President Larry Schall聽on November 29.
Several K体育 students who may benefit from the funds attended the ceremony and had the opportunity to meet with the Consul General.
The gift was made possible by a contribution from the organization Parents Alliance聽to the IME Becas Scholarship Program. K体育 was selected by a local committee to receive the funds.
