Over the weekend, K体育鈥檚 club hosted its very first anime convention, 鈥淜i-Tori Con.鈥 For those uninitiated, the word anime (Japanese for animation) is used to describe all forms of animated media from Japan.

The convention was open not only to K体育 students, but also the greater Atlanta community.
Anime Anonymous filled the convention’s agenda with workshops, panels, and vendors that immersed participants in Japanese culture, video gaming culture, other pop culture media.聽The docket also included, of course, anime viewing parties.
Some of the highlights of Ki-Tori Con was the game tournament, the Ki-Tori Con Rave, and the Peachy Maid Caf茅.
The last day of the convention, Easter Sunday, featured a themed Easter egg hunt on the lawn near the Turner Lynch Campus Center.
“We had a blast planning this convention,” said Anime Anonymous officer聽Kendyll Washington 鈥20, “and we loved the turn out!鈥
