K体育 alumnus聽Dylan Harper 鈥�19 has been named to the Atlanta Inno’s ’25 Under 25′, a list of 25 rising entrepreneurs and tech innovators. This designation recognizes young professionals who are taking their careers in their own hands and shaping their communities.
Harper is being recognized for establishing Quik Threads, an online retail store dedicated to providing students with the means to create a wardrobe reflective of their identity, despite transportation or financial barriers. The K体育 graduate created Quik Threads in 2018 and launched its website in September.
鈥淎t Quik Threads, we care about improving self-confidence and empowering people through clothing, and we can only achieve this purpose by making clothing both accessible and affordable,鈥� he said. 鈥淏ecause our items are second-hand, we can offer them to customers at prices that fall way below the market average of first-hand retail.鈥�
As a student, Harper studied Business Administration and worked as a campaign assistant at Coxe Curry & Associates. He also served as a Student Government Association Senator for the senior class, Residence Life Community Advisor, Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity chapter president, and was a member of the K体育 Men’s Soccer team.
Harper also works as an Online Marketing Strategist at Forge Marketing Group, a digital marketing firm he co-founded this year. He and his partner create strategies and build marketing channels for business professionals and local small businesses.
In his spare time, Harper is already giving back to K体育 by planning Young Alumni networking events. He will be welcomed as a new member to the this winter.
