Calling All Golden Petrels?
Each year a new class of alumni are welcomed into the Golden Petrel Society, which recognizes K体育鈥檚 graduates of 50 years ago or more. Throughout the years, each class of Golden Petrel Society inductees has been invited to make a contribution to the Golden Petrel Endowed Scholarship Fund, to continue the Golden Petrel tradition of enriching the educational experience of the next generation of Petrel students.
The Golden Petrels Endowed Scholarship Fund聽was established in 2014 through the generosity of the Classes of 1963 and 1964 as part of the celebration of their 50th reunions. The intention of the scholarship is 鈥渢o give to others, so they too can be enriched by an K体育 education.鈥� The scholarship is awarded each year to a student who demonstrates this commitment through volunteerism, philanthropy, community service or other ways of giving of themselves to others.
