University Communications maintains social media guidelines and best practices to ensure the K体育 community connects thoughtfully, responsibly, and accurately.
All K体育-affiliated social media accounts must be registered with Marketing and Communications. These include accounts for any and all departments, divisions, academic programs, athletic teams, and entities on campus.
Marketing and Communications convenes a monthly meeting of the Social Media Users Group (SMUG) to ensure consistency across all K体育-affiliated channels and provide an opportunity to help you to learn social media best practices and trends and to collaborate with other departments. To join, please contact Valeri Cruz.
If you receive a question in your social media account that you are unsure about or a request from a media outlet via social media or any other channel, please refer them directly to Michelle Geiger, Senior Director of Marketing and Communications.
